When you invite 600 people to a wedding... it's pretty difficult to remember what particular gift you got from each person, but I will never forget who gave me the "Sanders" that now hangs in our foyer. It is the perfect addition to our new life together and I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. I haven't had the chance to travel all over the world, but every time I see the letters, it's my own little trip. This made a perfect baby shower gift. My niece Taryn is due the first week of September. I picked light blue and charcoal colored mats and the frame is pewter. It came out really beautifully!

I received a piece from Scarce Photography from a close friend as a wedding gift. It was by far the most thoughtful, elegant and memorable gift we received to celebrate our new life together, the beginning of our own family and my new last name! Each of the photos are so well done and unique. Every couple of days I declare a favorite photo in the piece only to decide on a new favorite days later. I've seen similar pieces in other people's homes or gift shops, but they always seemed contrived. Everyone who visits our home comments on the piece that hangs directly above the threshold of our foyer. The individual pictures are from all over the world and are individually dazzling, but the piece also comes together beautifully. I'll definitely be purchasing these in the future as wedding, housewarming and baby gifts and always keep Scarce Photography cards on hand when we entertain in our home as I'm always asked where we got it!
